robot hoover of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Check for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the S1's behaviour.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them, and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or rug.
The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them becoming clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for cleaning. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than just dragging a pad across the surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.

The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or refilled. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it could get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good with a pair of spinning mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just moving the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is a great feature for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than some competitors and leaves a large space between obstacles. This could lead to missing spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and well-organized. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter suction power, mop setting as well as view 3-D and 2D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. You'll need a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach every speck of dust. It is important to clean often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It is easy to connect to your home WiFI network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a lower-cost plastic body.
Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 offers the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa power that can combat pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising because it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also has a unique method to map your home, which really helps it get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. This device also has a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which reduces the cost. The robot is also able to detect carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
